Welcome to The Spot Studios! Richard Veltrop and Glenn Sawyer are teaming up to provide artists/bands with a new production solution from their new studio in Lakewood, Co. The studio is built into a 7800 square foot house that features some incredible acoustic spaces. Artists looking for the classic John Bonham sound can take advantage of "The Cathedral", our primary drum room that features impressive vaunted ceilings, or if you're more inclined towards a tighter, warmer sound, check out the "Wood Room". In addition to great acoustic spaces, bands will be able to take advantage of free onsite accommodations in order to truly immerse themselves in the project.
Rich and Glenn bring close to 25 years of combined production and engineering experience to the table, and they are both lifelong musicians. The duo previously worked separately at Sylvia Massy's RadioStar Studios (now Loud Palace) in Weed, Ca. Veltrop/Sawyer are currently offering mixing, editing, and programming services while the studio is being finished. The duo expects to be able to deliver full-on start to finish production by the beginning of May.
