Bloodoath is more than a band…It is a way of life!
Formed in late 2011 by Tony Marlow (vocals), Trevor Pollman (guitars), Bloodoath’s torturous form of hardcore quickly became apparent to the local Portland/Vancouver scene.
Later pickin up Chance Lambert as the bass player, providing a crushing live show, Bloodoath pace the stage like carnivorous caged animals. Their furious tempo, wild antics, and outright inhuman energy make them by far the most intense live shows you’ll see. As the music penetrates your bloodstream, part of you hopes they don’t hurt or kill each other on stage – the other part of you, directed by the pulverizing beats, heavy guitars, and severe vocals, sort of make you think, “I sort of hope they do.” Their music is intense, aggressive, unbelievably heavy, and absolutely in your face.
With truthful lyrics ranging from the problems with society, to how they feel about past relationships, Bloodoath’s barbaric and raw form of metal clearly resonates with each witness to their live assault. Come to any Bloodoath show and see the sheer number of fans that return time and time again. The buzz about Bloodoath spreads daily as is validated by the rabid new fans they accumulate at each show.
As one of the hardest working bands in the scene, Bloodoath has just one goal: Play live as much as possible to bring their specialized form of brutal hardcore music to the masses. As any member of Bloodoath will tell you, “We are all brothers in the metal army and we work hard to bring all the metal brethren together.”
Their first LP, “Set in Blood,” is scheduled to be released in early 2013.
Get ready to throw down because Bloodoath IS the new “Hardcore”!
