An acoustic folk punk act from the fabled "Ghost Town" warehouse district of Oakland, California, Ghost Town Gospel brings their aggressive brand of graveyard folk to the masses. Like high-energy, foot-stompin' music? Strap on your boots and grab your flask. It's time to dance.
Relentless performers, they can be spotted entertaining crowds in bars, clubs, coffee shops, theaters, art festivals, poetry slams, subway platforms, street fairs, campfires, moving vehicles and anywhere they drag their instruments.
Tyler- Multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer, he immigrated to the bay from Arizona after spending 7 years between running a record label/recording studio, playing in various bands, and working night shift at the local jail. He was inspired to assemble an acoustic act because "moving drums sucks".
Josh: The primary songwriter and lead vocalist, shreds guitars with utter disregard for the safety of himself and others. With a degree in music from Sonoma State, he is a veteran of the East Bay Hardcore scene. When not touring with GTG, he can be caught smashing his home-made light-up frankenstein guitar while performing with the synth punk oddity "Death Ray". He is also an avid outdoorsman and survivalist, and can grow a mean beard.
Miss Roach: When not playing squeezebox with GTG, she can be found playing in backyards across the US with the sprawling non-band "Jerk Church", or baking up vegan treats in her kitchen at home.
Dillie: A Ghost Town native, and some kind of badass aerialist who hops trains and plays a mean viola.
