I got my first guitar on my 10th birthday. It was a full-size dreadnoght instrument too large for my scrawny arms at the time, but within 5 minutes I arranged my first groove, and a couple hours later I had penned my first song "My Brother Is Mean (He Doesn't Share Toys)". From then till now I've experimented with all kinds of genres and instruments, mostly dabbling with beat production and hip-hop and R&B. In 2011 I returned to my roots and bought an acoustic guitar that would later be called "The Cardinal". I started writing again in a genre I like to call "90's Hip-Hop Inspired Pop Rock&B" and soon began performing at local open mics and bars. I was both surprised and humbled at the amount of love I received when sharing my life through song and began to think "I could do this...". I now reside in Greensboro, North Carolina with plans to take a life-altering trip up north or out west. In the meantime I'll keep writing as long as someone will listen. And even if no one listens I'll continue to write for my sanity!
