Beat the Doll formed in Watertown, CT in October of 2010. With Shane on drums and Chris on guitar they spent almost 8 months writing songs before Tom came along with his versatile and incredibly appropriate vocal stylings. They played a handful of shows with that line up. In August of 2012 Adam joined up to fill out the sound with bass. Adam departed in late 2012 and Tom I. filled the vacant slot a couple months later. Now fully staffed with talented and like minded individuals, Beat the Doll is an act to watch out for. Mixing a myriad of influences and musical goals, they have created an intense, dynamic, and driven sound. At times confusing and at other times familiar, and while progressive in nature, they have managed to keep a certain focus with their music to deliver songs that are creative, powerful, haunting, neurotic, heavy, murderous, cerebral, and sometimes just plain funny. They are currently playing shows and working to expand their set list. Find out when they're playing on Facebook.
