In April of 2011, Paul Adragna and Bridget Sheehan met in Austin,Texas and quickly formed a close friendship, firmly bonded by their love of King Crimson. Once the two found that they also shared a love for playing and writing music they began to play together, starting with a ukulele and drum rendition of Radiohead's Creep. Soon after a few original songs were in the works and Bridget and Paul soon realized a guitarist and bassist were needed to get this project off the ground. A quick response to a "craigslist" ad and a visit to a gas station gave them Konstantin Gurevich and Nathan Sheahan. In summer of 2011 the full line-up was complete and Pussy Factory began creating music.
The band made their live debut on March 30, 2012 at Headhunter's Patio in Austin, TX. Now with over 20 shows under their belt in less than a year the band continues to expand their live performance and send chills down the spines of their audience with rhythmic grooves, nasty guitar riffs and strong, emotional vocals that grab your senses and keep you guessing with every song change.
In early 2012, the band recorded their first release; Public Consumption and released on April 22 2012. The album featured 6 tracks in their original forms including "Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll" and "Every Day". The "Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll" single was released on 9/15/12 with a new version of the song and two additional remixed tracks from the Public Consumption release. Both albums are available online only and for absolutely nothing.
Pussy Factory has since continued to write, rehearse and perform all around Texas and has just started production on their first full length album which will include many previously released songs and many new ones all rerecorded, mixed and mastered. A release date will be announced. Look out for Pussy Factory, coming to a city near you!
