Survay Says! / Bio

Survay Says! is a 7-piece ska/punk band based in Blairstown, New Jersey. Inspired by the third wave ska punk movement of the late '90's, the band blends influences of high speed pop punk, horn driven ska, vocal harmonies, use of humor and high energy to create an original and infectious live set that will leave you wanting more. The band books their own shows, writes and records their own records, designs and sells their own merchandise, and functions independently. In the short time the band has been together, they have achieved a great deal of success on local and national levels. Earning a strong fan base in a world where ska is no longer a marketable genre, the band has played nearly 100 shows in 7 states. Their song "Brining Shitely" is featured in an upcoming independent film and on a compilation to be distributed on every stop on the 2010 Warped Tour, presented by Rogan Records. They have booked their 1st tour and have shared the stage with big names such as Reel Big Fish, Big D & The Kids Table, Streetlight Manifesto, Bayside, Valencia, and many more. The band released their 2nd full length album in October 2010 and is now available on iTunes as well as hard copies at shows. Survay Says! prides themselves on putting on an energetic show every time they play, writing and recording fun and catchy music, and they make sure to interact with all of their fans on and off the stage. Feel free to come up to any member and say hi at a show and stay in touch with them on Facebook & MySpace.
