Singer-songwriter Andy Prasa combines the pop and melodic sensibilities of John Mayer, with the soulful singing of D’Angelo, and the blues guitar virtuosity of Eric Clapton. Now releasing his second solo record, “Charlesgate East EP”, Andy is preparing his Boston debut.
Originally from Hillsborough, NJ, Andy has built up a following in the NJ-PA-NY tristate area. Performing at venues such as Webster Hall, Stone Pony, and Six Flags, Andy previously performed as a member of hard rock band The Harsh and alternative band For The Plane.
Andy Prasa is now studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. His last album, “Coast to Coast”, garnered positive reviews from critics. TIW Music said “WARNING: If you like pop music with a twist of jazz, Andy Prasa's songs may be highly addictive. Call your doctor immediately if you repeatedly stay up past 2am listening to his music.” Look for his new record "Charlesgate East EP" on iTunes and Spotify on April 3.
