The crew was formed close to two years ago, we were already close friends and naturaly we roll together. we were all at the crossroads deciding what path to follow and decided whatever it was, we would work for ourselves and take control of our future. during that time we got in the studio and recorded a track "DO IT LIKE THIS" which we decided to throw on the internet to see the response. It was completely different from the sound out at that time. yet it did realy well and the whole S.O.G movement sort of kicked off from there. The choices were wheter to follow our passion or play it safe and do something strictly for the finances. Music has been a major part of our lives as far back as we can remember and we came to the realisation that if we don't pursue our dreams we would live a life of regret. so we decided to turn that doubt into energy and S.O.G being the world,our families, friends and even ourselves- that we could pursue our dreams and make a success story out of it. the name stuck, as we felt it was something that cut across social classess, age groups, race and genders. Everyone has a dream and we all have the ability to chase that dream and show it to the world. WHATS OUR AIM?
OUR AIM IS TO EVENGELISE AND SPEAD THE S.O.G GOSPEL WHICH IS THAT "HIP HOP IS NOT DEAD.....IT LIVES IN UITENHAGE.
