Jackomo started as a weekly house jam. We quickly became a band playing regularly at the "Jack of the Wood" pub in Asheville, hence the name "Jackomo"! We still host a weekly jam and encourage folks to play the traditional Cajun music! We fell in love with the sound and we honor the Cajun heritage and music!
