Daniel Hartig is a guitarist, composer and educator from New York City. Throughout high school, Daniel performed his original music at various New York venues, including The Knitting Factory, Howl Festival and the United Nations Annual Youth Summit. At the age of 16, Daniel started playing Jazz and spent two summers at the Berklee College of Music. His love for guitar led to his decision to continue his studies at University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
At UArts, Daniel studied jazz guitar performance with a minor in music education. His performances throughout his four years in Philadelphia include jazz clubs, bars, restaurants and hotels.
In addition to his performance career, Daniel teaches regularly in New York as well. He teaches general music and private lessons to children and adults of all ages. Daniel is currently enrolled in a graduate program at Columbia University, Teachers College, where he is studying music education.
