Biography:

A wide spectrum of darkness, discomfort and rage, cured by passion, conviction, and perseverance. From love/hate relationships to S&M fantasies, systematic world corruption to childhood alienation. These deepest darkest human emotions are therapeutically released through the music which the band creates, and metamorphoses into a positive and constructive energy force.

Illusions Fate, Chicago's most dynamic Alt/Metal triad, rose from the ashes of disbanded forces on Halloween of 2006, immediately releasing a 3 song demo and playing small gigs in and around the Windy City.

Since their formation, IF has accomplished much greater feats, being featured on Chicago Area TV shows such as Expose, Rebel Access, and UGTV, and packing some of Chicagolands top venues such as The Double Door, The Pearl Room, The Beat Kitchen, and opening for top national acts such as Soil, Mushroomhead, Bobaflex, Michale Graves, Mobile Death Camp, Egypt Central, Genuflect, Stonerider, Fashion Bomb and more.

Illusions Fate has also taken their live show on the road to such states as Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan, performing such top venues as Skully’s Music Diner (Columbus, OH), The Elysium (Austin, TX), The Lerner Theater (Elkhart, IN), and many, many more. The band has completed just over 80 live performances in 2012.

During such shows, IF has captivated and stolen audiences by notoriously having one of the most animated, passionate, and raunchy live performances Rock or Metal has to offer.

Illusions Fate draws it's inspiration from some of the most influential Industrial, Alternative, Rock and Metal acts of the past and present, including Nine Inch Nails, TOOL, Lamb of God, Black Sabbath, Metallica, etc.

The next release from Illusions Fate will be their self-titled EP including the first single “Own You”, which will be due out in Spring of ‘13 and will be accompanied by a new music video and a heavy arsenal of US tour dates to fill out a majority of the year.
