Demons Past began after original drummer Pat Gallo, guitarist Nick Gallo, and bassist Dan Duguay had parted ways with the singer of their previous band. Determined to continue on as a band and renaming themselves “Demons Past”, the trio went in search of a new singer. Several months later Pat aproached singer Kevin James Frear about auditioning after hearing him sing karaoke at a local bar. The following Thursday evening the four got together for Kevin’s audition and everything clicked. They immediately started writing together, the first song being “Holding On”, proving that the chemistry was there.
Demons Past has since enjoyed success from both internet and terrestrial radio play of their first single “No Way Back”. They have also opened for several national acts including Bam Margera (with members of CKY), Hurt, Smile Empty Soul, Prospect Hill and Halestorm. The band at this time is continuing to perform live consistantly while writing and recording original songs for their upcoming debut CD.
