GARY LYNN FLOYD
Gary is a singer/songwriter/actor from Conroe, Tx. He was four years old when he began picking out melodies on the piano, and he’s been making music ever since. His soulful blend of pop, country, and r&b has been critically acclaimed, and the Dallas Observer says, “his original ballads pound with soul and fire”. Gary's song "Unbound" was recently named the theme song for the Global Women's Empowerment Network (www.gwennetwork.org), and subsequently won the 2012 Hollywood Music in Media award for Adult Contemporary/AAA. His most recent CD, Then + Now, is a retrospective of most requested songs over the past decade, with five fresh, new songs, including a duet with best friend and fellow recording artist, Denise Lee. The Gospel Of Zen, Gary's critically acclaimed EP, was nominated for three OutMusic Awards, including Album of the Year. In early 2012, Gary was featured on the CW television series, TroubadourTx, a music documentary following Texas singer/songwriters.
