If you are looking for unhinged heavy soul/blues based rock with a power female vocal, The Howll delivers! From the absolute raw, soulful emotional abandon of Lindsay Coleman's vocals, to the animalistic attack of drummer Robin Mason adding the rich vintage edge cutting tones of lead guitar player Andrew Eaton, paired with the large and steady thumping bass from Doug Norman; catching a set from this high energy passionate band never disappoints.
Jan 5th, 2013 they released their first self-titled EP at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern with great success. Shortly after the EP release the band lost their lead guitar player and took some time off to focus on solo projects to then reform for their largely successful comeback show at Revival Feb 6th 2014 headlining the Missy Ink Magazine launch. Since then they have hit the road for various dates and delivered a smash hitting successful show at The Mississauga Southside Blues Shuffle. The Howll, originally formed by Lindsay Coleman in 2010, is looking forward to many upcoming shows while writing their upcoming full-length album with their new line up. So be sure to visit them on their travels to reach a wider fan base, as playing live has and will always be their first love.
