Mudbones Blues Review / Bio

Mudbones Blues Review is the brainchild of Durham harp player Butch “Mudbones” Haas. His vision was to create a blues band that would keep even the most timid dancers on their feet all night long. Butch plays harp and guitar as well as vocals and is joined by journeyman musicians from the Durham blues scene.Mark Taylor on guitar and vocals,Warren Johnson guitar and vocals,Dave Sword Drums,Ed Moon bass, TA James on studio bass recordings. Mudbones performs original and standard blues songs inflected with mojo from the 1960’s. The sound is delicately layered, and punctuated with soulful singing and melodic solos.
