Franny&Zooey is the last of the authentic 2 piece blues bands. Hitchiking from Iowa to New Orleans and after years ending up in Austin comes Mrs. Glass. A man with a voice and a soul that surpasses his mere 26 years of age. At first listen any and all comparisons to the black keys or the white stripes will be shattered and names like Robert Johnson, Son House, and R.L. Burnside will be forced to the forefront of your mind. On the drums is punk rock veteran, Eric Green (Riverboat Gamblers) who has always been more Stax Records than Fat Records. With a mind for melody firmly planted in 60's soul music and a strong inspiration from Keith Moon he shares the brunt of song writing while providing a sense of showmanship that is rare in this generation. The two combined release an interpretation of RnB that has never been heard before. Loud and raucous yet at the same melodic and heart felt. Road ready and hungry this 2 piece is ready to kick down the doors of genres and show what real RnB is all about!
