– born and raised on ‘The Rock’ as the youngest girl in a family of 14 siblings. In this east coast, family environment, growing up meant learning values, hard work, worship and the love of music, to last for a life time.
Into Adult Life, Evelyn
has performed on Radio, Television and in non-commercial Videos. She has performed extensively in Southern Ontario, most regions of Canada, military bases CFB Borden and CFB Petawawa, Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee. Venue performances have been as a ‘solo featured guest’ with various entertainers and bands or she has headlined accompanied by her own Country Rail Band.
Evelyn’s Trademark ‘I Saw Patsy Cline’ Tribute Show continues to be an intricate part of her performances although there is a closer similarity to Connie Smith and Patty Loveless. But the ‘voice’ will always be unmistakeably be that is Evelyn.
Evelyn is currently out supporting the upcoming Fall 2011 release of her self produced CD ‘Love Busted’ recorded at Music Sound Masters. All songs are original by a variety of Canadian and US song writers and recorded to her own vocal styling. A special thanks to Steve Piticco, Don Reed, Doug Johnson, Al Brisco, Roly Platt, Albert MacDonald and the many others who made this happen. In addition Evelyn’s single of ‘There Would Be No Christmas Without You’ a J.P. Hebert song aka 'Doc Layne', released by Christie Enterprise Publishing enjoys continued demand each Christmas on many Canadian Country Stations.
