Gareth Jay is a freelance musician based in Sydney and The Blue Mountains. He is available for composition and live performance, creating complex sound scores for recordings, performance, film and theatre works. Currently he is performing regularly at weddings, cafe gigs, pub gigs and festivals. He collaborates with artists in blues, jazz, pop, classical, and electronic. With an intimate passion for blues and acoustic music, he derives influences from Albert King, Elliott Smith, Donovan, Carol King, The Beatles, and Dr John.
