TERRY CARR is a singer/guitarist/pianist/songwriter from the planet Earth. TERRY plays a wide variety of music, including blues, jazz, funk, country, folk, metal, and psychedelic, as well as ambient and experimental music. Drawing from an enormous pool of influences, from Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and BB King, to Hendrix, Clapton, Garcia, Page and Santana, to SRV, Satriani, Vai, Gilbert, Lifeson and Mustaine, Blending all of these styles, along with his own, into one colorfully bizarre sub-genre that has yet to be discovered.
TERRY was the lead vocalist/guitarist for Wildwood Trinity (Jim Mogavero, Van Easterday) in the late 80's and early 90's, and in the mid-90's TERRY took on the role of lead vocalist/guitarist for the band Kilbourn (Travis Carr, Lee and Lance Herrera) a heavy metal band out of Chicago, then in 2002 TERRY helped form Minds Eye with Clay Justice, Seth Jenkins and Jared McAlister.
