WildStorm - European-inspired American Power Metal with Classic Rock roots. Formed in mid-2008 by brothers Chad and Danny Keyser, WildStorm is an eclectic mix of classic rock music of decades past and flavors of European power metal. Drawing influences from artists such as Iron Maiden, Queensryche, Sonata Arctica. Stratovarius, and Nightwish, WildStorm blends European-style power metal, with classic heavy metal and hard rock. The story of WildStorm begins in the suburbs of Frederick, MD. The Keyser brothers have always been fans of rock music, but it was around 2001 that they began to seriously consider forming a band. Both Chad and Danny started playing guitar in high school; it was not until 2007 that Chad made the switch to lead vocalist. The following year, after a previous project had failed, the brothers felt rather discouraged about their desired career in music. At the same time, soon-to-be-drummer Brandon Jones was experiencing his own dilemmas. Jones had been working on forming his own band for the past few years with little success. Things seemed at a low point for the yet-unacquainted members of WildStorm. At a point when both parties seemed down and out, suddenly events were set in motion which would bring them together. On a routine visit to a local music store, Jones happened across the Keyser brother's ad for a drummer. Chad, Danny, and Brandon hit it off immediately and for a while, it seemed as though things were finally coming together. But in 2009, The band hit yet another snag; The band had begun to progress musically, and all were developing their talents on a daily basis. The exception to this was their bass player at the time. It soon became obvious that if the band hoped to succeed in their endeavor, the current bass player would have to be dismissed. After a long conversation between the band, a mutual decision was made, and WildStorm began searching for their new bass player. For over a year the band searched, auditioning several temporary performers, none of which seemed to fill the hole in their line-up. Once again their outlook was less than positive. While most of the players they auditioned were talented, none seemed to share the goals and ambitions of FairSkies. But luck was once again on the band's side. After posting an ad online, the band received a response from middletown resident Dakota LaFrance. LaFrance seemed to be the final piece in the puzzle for FairSkies. Finally, with a solid line up once again, WildStorm was back on the scene in full force. WildStorm strives to make a true difference in the world using a medium they believe in with every fiber of their being – Music. It is one of the few things in life that is timeless and can make an impression upon people beyond words. The joy of creating something from ones heart and influencing people in a positive way is a lifestyle all the members of WildStorm live by. Since their formation, the band has played numerous venues and written a handful of original songs which make up the track list of their future Debut Album. WildStorm plans on continuing their work and pursuing their shared dream of creating music as a career for as long as it takes, for there is no substitute in life for that which makes one truly feel accomplished.
