Not So Broken is a Pop-Punk/Rock band based out of Suffolk County Long Island. The band originally formed in 2006, and has since been working on their goal to create high-energy live performances and music that people will love. Though all of the members pull from their own different musical tastes, the band as a whole is influenced by bands such as Four Year Strong, Korn & Silverstein.
Recently, Not So Broken went into the studio with producer and guitar player for Bomb the Music Industry, Tom Malinowski, who’s previous studio work involves not only Bomb the Music Industry, but bands such as Bayside. Together, they recorded a six-song EP entitled Eighty-six and are planning to release the EP this summer by playing hometown and out-of-state shows.
Locally, Not So Broken has played a large number of venues, and has consistently been able to broaden their fan base and promotional efforts. The band especially appeals to the high school and college-aged crowd, and has played at several High School and New York State University events. They have also taken part in several benefit shows for charities such as To Write Love on Her Arms, and the American Cancer Society.
Consequentially, Not So Broken plans on continuing promoting and entertaining crowds at their shows, and is looking forward to the next leg of their budding career.
