SUCKERPUSH / Bio

SUCKERPUSH hails from Kalamazoo, Michigan and is a well-established band. We have played with members of the P-Funk All-Stars, Dick Dale, Grand Funk, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Our music has been selected and featured in a motion picture, on a benefit cd for breast cancer research, a benefit cd for Action Against Hunger, a 10-part DirectTV Documentary "Gone Until December", and most recently selected to cover Aerosmith's Deuces Are Wild for the title track on Versailles Records Aerosmith tribute cd to be released in stores nationwide. This project includes members of Tesla, Poison, Kiss, Guns and Roses, and more!

SUCKERPUSH has released two CDs to rave reviews, gaining endorsements along the way from Ovation Acoustic Guitars, Pro Co. Int., and others. We have had national radio exposure on the Mitch Albom Show, as well as in studio interviews and songs on Southwest Michigan's 103.3fm and the Edge 92.1. SUCKERPUSH has played many sporting venues/events such as U of M Homecoming and State Games, Kalamazoo Wings Stadium Hockey Opener, the Chicago Cubs Convention, the Iowa Cubs Convention, and more. SUCKERPUSH was granted a full endorsement from AKG acoustics, the microphones they use "live”.

After an exhausting east coast tour encompassing 10 states, the band took a much needed break and began the extensive search for a new drummer. With well over 600 shows under their belts, SUCKERPUSH has the high energy stage presence and the musical ability to entertain young and old alike in small intimate venues or larger sold-out stadiums.
