Coeus the Boxing Titan is an independent, one-man electronic rock project in northern Minnesota, offering a more modern take on the Progressive and Industrial genres. How does it sound? Imagine... just IMAGINE... if Pink Floyd became a Faith No More cover band... hired a cold-having Marilyn Manson as the vocalist... recorded it all while an old Prince record was booming in the background... and mixed it on a cheap PC while doing acid. Nothing has ever existed to fill that incredibly-specific void... until now. ENTER: Coeus the Boxing Titan!
Minnesota's Coeus the Boxing Titan is a musical diety that descended from the clouds back in 2008, as a way for sole member and songwriter Aro to vent pent-up emotion and punch holes in the fabric of modern rock. Combining his own takes on several genres, Coeus takes enormous influence from progressive, psychadelic, and industrial rock; artists like John Frusciante, Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, Primus, Beck, Mike Patton, and King Crimson.
