Mike Corey has been playing music and entertaining folks for quit a while and has devoted his time and talents to some volunteer work with the Illinois 2011 united way award winning and 2012 NAMI award winning group the Stars of Light Troupe winner for group of the year, he has also wrote song's for Autism awareness as "Hear their voices" written for Heidi Carabine upcoming web site F.A.I.R. and "Walk For Their Freedom" for Patricia Hardinn's cause for Autism he has also wrote and recorded a song called "Simply Poetry" for Robert Sobota-Tulip's online radio show which features many of Mikes other songs as well.

Currently Mike has release his first solo album "Darkness & Light" an album based around his life, before finding mental health recovery and has just now released his second solo album "A Light in The Darkness" Featuring him mental health songs, songs for autism and much more.

Mike Is the type of writer who never stops. He is currentlly working on a self help book of the same name based on both of his albums one about his life and the other is a self help book.

Mike's work is built in more forms then just song, it spans to poetry, film and speech as well. He is the type of writer that when asked to work on a project other than his own such as "Hear Their Voices" & "Walk For Their Freedom" he is quick and precise at getting all info he needs to come up with the perfect piece of work for his clients.
