I have always been in the background when it comes to singing. I started my 'career' in Peterborough childrens choir, when I sang in an operah which was shown on ITV news (think I was about 12 and had a dodgy hair do!) and carried on after that with my classical training, taking grades 2 and 5 in ABRSM singing and receiving a distinction for both.

I have been a backing singer for Hayley Sanderson - fun times! - and sang for various bands including Saturday night Divas (70's show) and Blush (X factor bootcamp 2007) which was great fun, we were filmed for a documentary on Red tv Sky 186 called "I want to be a celebrity" at our gig at Serpentine shopping centre, which was a hilarious insight into the dynamics of being part of a group.

After many years of pondering if I could do it by myself, and after much goading and a bit of courage from a couple of solo performances, including being guest singer and judge for Peterborough's got Talent 2008, I have decided to gather up all the lyrics I've been writing over the past 15 or so years and try and make people listen - and enjoy! :)
