I am a solo artist and the lead singer / songwriter for AUDIO PORN and the Toronto based rock band BLACK SUN.
I was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and moved to Canada as a child. In my early teens, I discovered the writings of Robert E. Howard, and my life-long love affair with fantasy fiction and fantasy art began.
In 2000 I put together a hard rock band called Skank, playing bars and various other venues across Canada. We opened at outdoor festivals for such acts as Warrant, Billy Idol, Nazareth, Survivor, Cheap Trick and April Wine.
In 2007 I formed the Canadian rock band Jezebels Kiss along with drummer Byron Black. In the spring of 2008, we began recording our debut effort, Positive Hostility with producer Ryan Andersen, well-known for his work with Canadian rockers Nickelback.
Positive Hostility was released by Dynasty Records Distribution in 2009. My song "Let Me Go" was also featured on the JUST ROCK compilation album from Moiko Records, the proceeds of which were donated to Habitat For Humanity.
The first single from Positive Hostility-CUT-was released in 2010 to rock radio in Canada. Plans for several other singles were scrapped when Jezebels Kiss disbanded in early 2011, a move which prompted me to venture forward as a solo artist.
In the September, 2011, I released my first poetry book, Bedtime Stories For Naughty Children, courtesy Shemyaza Press.
In November, 2011, I joined Black Sun as lead singer and co-writer, and shot the video for Sweet 16 with director Izaiah Kane and Burning Nitrate Productions in Vancouver BC.
While recording the Black Sun album Edge Of Darkness in January, 2012, I met producer / Hydrogyn guitarist Jeff Westlake, the result of which resulted in the official birth of Audio Porn.
Audio Porn’s self titled debut was released via Music Buy Mail in Europe August 29, 2012, and in North America August 31, 2012 by Super D Distribution.
Black Sun's debut album was released in September, 2013.
Audio Porn's second album, "Midnight Confessions", was released on September 2014, in Europe and the UK via Music Buy Mail.Eu, Frontiers and Cargo records; in North America via JK Records and Super D.
