KayBiggs57 also known by the names Kay or Biggs57 in Boston, Ma one out of four children. He was surrounded by Gospel and the soulful sounds of the 1940's through the 1960's. His grandfather was the man who made him believe in music and the supernatural powers that it has to possess and move people while relating to the human spirit. Also serving as part of his inspiration to be a musician were his uncles, who were apart of a Gospel group, his father who was a drummer, and his mother who sang around the house. Growing up in a house of music was the primary reason KayBiggs57 ever took music seriously not only as an art, but as away to reach out and touch people in ways unimaginable. After moving throughout different neighborhoods of Boston and dealing with the seperation of his parents KayBiggs57 finally emerged as an artist.
At the age of 11 he was playing the keyboard, and in high school he began to take classes in musical theory, percussion, and also voice and wind instruments. Biggs57 was a member of various groups including First Class and Moment of Truth just to name a couple. Being a member of Moment of Truth for six years Biggs57 won several competitions with his musical talents and also opened up for other artist like Perfect Gentlemen and Tevin Cambell. As he graduate from Madison Park Technical and Vocational school, Biggs57 was playing 14 instruments and a soon to be father.
With new responsibilities his goal as an artist became to never give up on the pursuit of a music career. It wasnt for money that Kay wanted to pursue music no, it was to put the soul back in soul music; to give people the goosebumps when they hear the soulful harmony of R&B. Music has served as an outlet for Kay to speak about his emotions as well as the obsticales that once stood in front of him. It's theraputic As a producer and song writer Kay writes about whatever the beat and the rthym make him feel. If the beat is meloncoly than the lyrics will be filled with emotions dealing with love loss an seperation. Soul and R&B hasn't faded to black, its the music that possesses his spirit and soul, its apart of him like breathing is to everyone else.
