Celeste'al Descent / Bio

Celeste'al Descent is a progressive alternative rock band based in San Antonio Texas. The group consists of Celeste Nichole Munoz (Lead Vocalist) voted best Female Performer of San Antonio by the San Antonio Nightlife Awards 2013, Isaac Isaiah Alvarez (Guitar), Josue Jimenez (Drums) voted Best Drummer in SA by San Antonio Music Awards 2013, and Nick Gamboa (Bass) Stephen Farias (Rhythm Guitar) . Celeste’al Descent came together in 2010, when Celeste decided to take her career in music to the next level, and began to venture towards live band performance rather than prerecorded tracks. All four members bring different musical backgrounds to the drawing boards infusing styles of melodic leads, heart felt lyrics, odd meter rhythms, and powerful big chord choruses. Their influences include a diverse group of bands such as Paramore, August Burns Red, Iron Maiden, and Silverstein. The ultimate goal of Celeste'al Descent is to spread a positive message to any person that is willing to hear it, while simultaneously providing musical styling's that will catch the ear of a diverse audience. Our ages range younger than most, but our music shows otherwise. We have also had the honor of opening for FLYLEAF at Backstage Live SA, 12 Stones and The Letter Black at Fitzgerald's in SA. Celeste'al Descent also had the honor of being voted San Antonio's Best Alternative Rock Band by The San Antonio Nightlife Awards 2013. Contact us for booking!
