Chris Birkett biography
Chris is a music producer, sound engineer, musician, lyric writer and composer.
His journey as an artist and his life are intimately connected and bare witness to his vision of a better world to come.
His music productions and collaborations have sold more than one hundred million records and earned him three awards for excellence in the music business.
He has produced and engineered many successful records with artists such as Sinead O'connor (Nothing compares 2U) Buffy Sainte Marie, Bob Geldof, Alison Moyet and many more.
In 1993, he left London for France and built a studio in an old château near Bordeaux, south west France where he collaborated with many international and world music artists.
In the autumn of 2006, he moved to Paris and opened a new studio where he recorded his latest album « Freedom ».
Apart from his talents as a guitarist, arranger, Producer, Chris is also a singer and a composer.
He has currently released two albums which reflect his vision of the world. He believes that music is an important link that can bring people together, traversing the boundaries of race and color.

A title from this album « Where do we go from here » was donated to « Care International Charity for Africa » and included on Polygram compilation « One voice, One love » alongside U2, Peter Gabriel, Dire Straits, Bob Marley, tears for Fears and Queen.
