I am a composer - singer/songwriter from villages Marisol and Oriente (downsouth province of Buenos Aires, Argentina). I play guitar and a little bit of other instruments. I write and sing my songs and I play instrumental passages too.
When I was 17, I played in an instrumental music contest. It was a great experience, I learnt a lot about the guitar and its different possibilities. I wrote my first songs by that time too, but I recorded my first instrumental landscapes by 2010, when I was 24.
I've been working on my first instrumental album since 2012. I have recorded all instruments and have worked as a producer alongside my friend Mauricio Chávez. Mauricio has worked on the album art. This album deals with most of the styles I play: Progressive/Symphonic Rock, Ambient, Classic Rock, New Age, Space Rock, Folk, Blues, Jazz Fusion and World Music (Celtic, Southamerican, African, etc).
These days, I'm crafting some songs and their lyrics for my first EP.
Previous project: IRIS
In April 2011, I teamed with my friends Darío Gallardo (rhythm guitar and singer), Mauricio Chávez (collaborator as percussionist and singer) Jorge Quero (charango) and we founded a project named IRIS, a local melodic folk-rock band. We used to combine ballads, melodic pop/rock, Argentinian folklore, rock, blues, ambient/prog rock and other styles (www.reverbnation.com/irisoriente). We disbanded in January 2013.
