Meads Creek is a Country Music cover band from Upstate NY (Elmira/Corning/Watkins Glen). Seeing that this area is not only lacking in live music, but especially live COUNTRY music, the gang from Meads Creek decided to get something together and help fill the voids from this lack of live (and country) entertainment. Meads Creek's primary focus is to have fun and maybe entertain a little while doing it - and boy do they! As it's been coined at their shows, 'They have more fun than a little bit!", and so do the crowds!

Bassist and vocalist Bucky Sheldon has been on a stage for over 35 years singing, harmonizing and stomping out rhythms in genres including rock, classic rock, country, and blues. Sheldon has been the heartbeat for many popular local bands such as Maxx, The Sam Pallet Band, The Norman Bates Band, and Trick Ryder.

Drummer JJ Johnson is experienced in all genres of music also, with over 30 years behind him. Johnson has been keeping time for resident favorites including The Sam Pallet Band, The Generic Band, Scott Partridge, Mr. Whoopee, and The Norman Bates Band.

Keyboardist Danny Linsler can be found most recently also with The Norman Bates Band. But Linsler, who has been tickling the ivories for 30+ years, is best known for his time spent with the infamous cover band The Rogues.

Vocalist Jeremy James is relatively new to the live music scene, though he's been playing rhythm guitar for 20 years and singing for nearly 30. This is only James' second full-band experience; his first gig was singing for the local hard rock band Section 8.

Lead guitarist Fran Merrill was born into live music, and has been around it his entire life. Though fresh to the country scene, Merrill is no foreigner to the spot light and has been playing his 6-strings for over 30 years leading native rockers like The Culprits and Mr. Whoopee.
