Emily Moment is a folk singer-songwriter, musician, and actor living and working in New York City. Growing up in a small family of singers and musicians, she began writing music on a baby upright at the age of 14. She moved to NYC in 1999 to pursue her acting career and began playing open mic's in the East Village in the home of Anti-folk. There she honed her songwriting skills and planted roots in the local music scene collaborating with other musicians for live gigs and studio recordings. She has since moved from the piano to the guitar, ukulele, and bass and has performed in renowned venues all over New York City and the The United Kingdom. Her musical work is raw, powerful, and deeply insightful, executed with a unique soprano's lilt, a strong vibrato, and a natural knack for storytelling. Her debut EP "Never Enough", an independent project, recorded, mixed, and mastered between studios in London and Brooklyn is available online now.
