The Dixie Highway Band is a high energy country music band raised on traditional country music, southern rock, bluegrass, blues and gospel music. The members of Dixie Highway Band grew up playing with gospel groups and at church functions. They are East Tennessee boys who have been playing music since they were kids. The band members are cousins Brian, Kris, Bret and Derek Jones, plus lead vocalist Justin Reynolds, a long time friend. They went to school together and have been playing music together most of their lives. They work, think, perform and react as a group and make what they do for a living fun for the fans.
Ten years ago, they decided to seriously apply their talents and form Dixie Highway Band. They grew as individuals and as a unit, with each member evolving into superb singers, songwriters, and versatile musicians. From the time they take the stage, their genuine love for music is apparent. The Dixie Highway Band is not your typical country band. When these five musicians play together, they produce a unique sound with a style all it’s own and they’ve been perfecting that sound night after night for years. Their hard work is beginning to pay off as Dixie Highway Band show credits include opening for legendary artists like Sammy Kershaw, Amy Grant, Carlene Carter, Sawyer Brown, Kansas, Foreigner, Joe Diffie and Diamond Rio.
Dixie Highway Band consistently packs nightclubs, concerts, county fairs and festivals, and talent buyers book them time and again. As an added bonus, the guys in the band are genuine, fun loving guys who love what they do and spend hours talking to fans at every show. Once you’ve seen them on stage, you will see that whatever the magic is, Dixie Highway Band has “it” and they bring “it” to the stage every time they play.
