FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW SINGLE - “Como Me Haces Llorar”
(San Antonio, TX- Sept 2013)
Two-time GRAMMY winner Sunny Sauceda y Todo Eso have done it again, but this time with an "Implacable - relentless” attitude. Coming off of a GRAMMY nod in 2011 for his previous release “Camaleon” and after taking a short sabbatical to care for things on the home front they’re back with a hot new production.
After reviewing the album in it’s entirety San Antonio’s legendary journalist Ramon Hernandez commented, “I listen to an average of at least 20 new releases per month and this is by far the best production I’ve heard from someone in the Tejano genre in a couple of years. So be prepared to get blown away.”
“Como Me Haces Llorar” has an ultra-catchy cumbia beat with tricky tongue-twisting lyrics that have hit written all over the production. You’ll be having such a great time dancing to this one that there’s no way it’s going to make you cry.
- Carlos Alvarez (A&R, Azteca Records, LLC, VP, NARAS -TX Chapter Board of Governors) comments "Sunny continues to fuse traditional conjunto sounds with contemporary music rhythms. He Fuses a Los Bukis-type of cumbia sound with his Tejano cumbia groove setting a fusion for mass audiences to enjoy and dance to.
Sauceda adds “For this tune, what I did was, keep the Mexicano elements; the bajo sexto strumming and chord changes and styling the bass so the end result people hear is a blend of conjunto, a hint of my rocker background and my Mexican roots”
Hernandez summarizes his full review by saying “don’t label or pigeon hole this compact into one music genre and category because it so universal that it’s like taking a peek into the future of what’s to come. In short, Sunny has become a pied piper because this production is so far into the future that it makes him the leader of what’s to come.”
