THE GRACELAND FIVE / Bio

The Graceland Five is a Full Throttle all-ELVIS revue from Seattle, WA. Formed in August 2010, bassist and founder Sweetwillyp joined forces with members of The Dehumanizers, The All American Playboys, and DragStrip Riot to form The Graceland Five. Chachee Morockin' (The All American Playboys) took on the role of Elvis, with Rob Olsen on drums, Phil Bentz (Slam Suzanne, The Dehumanizers) and Knuck (DragStrip Riot) on guitars, and Sweet Willy P. (The Kings) on bass. The ambitious five-piece set to work re-arranging classic Elvis cuts and molding them into aggressive songs. A progressive vision took shape as the band mined ever-deeper cuts from Elvis' back catalog to create a musically tight punk and rock n roll tribute, well-balanced with equal parts humor and talent. The band aggressively started booking shows around the NW and beyond and almost immediately, The Graceland Five has caught fire with local crowds and is proving to be a sought after act in local venues
