Sweet Oblique / Bio

sWEET OBLIQUe is an alt/rock band formed by former Seattle musician, pboss. After moving to Tampa in late 2010, he met Angel Sheppard, an amazing vocalist and lyricist, formerly of the band Crevice from Detroit, who provides the perfect blend of heartfelt words, passion, and fashion to each song. She was dubbed Angel o0OMG last summer due to her many love song type lyrics in tunes such as "I Hope Something Eats You"
Matt Howard, out of Holiday, Florida, plays bass and keys. Matt comes to us via Nashville and has a number of great projects in the works.
Sweet Oblique is currently writing songs for a full length album and are playing live as often as possible, perfecting their stage show.. As a group, the band has a wide range of influences including PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, The Verve, Nirvana, Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, and assorted indie underground bands. We hope you like!
