Luke Lambregts (TheMetalian) – Biography
Luke Lambregts is about to release his debut album “I Believe”, much to the excitement of his army of fans. The album is expected to be a success due to his 80’s metal sound that he made his own over the years.
The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influences. Growing up in a musical area, meant that Luke was always surrounded by different forms of music. His mother was the full-time manager of his first bands.
Luke’s musical journey begins when he saw AC/DC live. From then on he wanted to learn an instrument. At age 14 he started to play the guitar. Later he began to play bass and keyboard. A decision he never regretted.
Not long after he picked up the guitar, he started experimenting with his first bands: “Straight A Head” and “Innocence”.
After realizing that making music was his main goal, he began to showcase his talent in various venues across the Benelux. Playing at numerous gigs and making sure that his 3th band TheGuardian was being heard by as many people as possible. He was quickly noted for the unique style that he brought to the 80’s metal scene and his popularity began to grow.
He is keen to point out that everything he listens to influences his musical development in some way. He would certainly include Iron Maiden, Helloween, Scorpions, AC/DC, and for now Masterplan are amongst his biggest influences.
Finally, after honing his unique sound over recent years, he is now preparing to release his debut album, ‘I Believe’, which underlies the changes that Luke has gone through over the recent 2 years. The biggest change was the ‘switch’ from “TheGuardian” to “TheMetalian” , which has allowed him to develop more as a family man. The songs are a combination of his guitar playing and mellow vocals.
It seems that the continent is building an appreciation for his sound and talent. His loyal army of fans spread far and wide across the globe, is waiting eagerly for their first chance to listen to the completed album of “TheMetalian”.
The album features Luke on the vocals and guitar, Fabiano Canani (drums), Mayckel Lambregts (his son) (bass), and Asmara Purba (guitar).
