Carly Jo is a 19 year old singer/songwriter and college student currently residing between Central and South Florida. Her heart is in her music and she wears it on her sleeve - you feel every emotion in her voice whether she is belting a cover song or singing her original music. She enjoys nothing more than singing and performing as a soloist, with a band, or in special collaboration with other artists.

Although cliche', Carly Jo literally has been singing since before she could talk, but didn't take to the stage until she joined The Pop Shop, a Central Florida-based performing arts school, in 2005. She was given a guitar for her 16th birthday in 2009, which opened up the world of songwriting and performing as a solo artist.

After attending college for a year at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, she came to grips with her own uniqueness and individuality, which is the basis of her new single, Wildflower, released in July 2012. She had the great fortune of recording the single with Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional) and his recording team Jonathan Clark and Benjamin Homola in return for providing vocals on some projects they were recording.

Her first EP, World at My Feet, released in November 2011, was written during an emotional period of her life and the five songs allow the listener to get a glimpse into her diary, from the first song, Just Another Game, which captures that time in some relationships when you are trying to make things work but they continue to deteriorate, to This is Goodbye, the break-up song, which is an ultimate girl-done-wrong anthem (Carly Jo usually introduces the song as an example of why a guy should never cheat on a songwriter -- she is going to "put you on blast").

Carly Jo has a captivating stage presence. She brings her sense of humor to her song introductions which allows an intimacy and closeness with the audience that is difficult for even more seasoned artists to achieve. It is an unexpected surprise to have this cute and quirky teen suddenly start belting a cover by Adele or her own original scandalous song Heartless.

Carly Jo has performed at large festivals and concert halls, but is equally as comfortable at more intimate coffee shops, restaurants, weddings and celebrations. While she headlines her own shows, she also enjoys opening for other artists and bands. In addition to guitar, she plays ukulele, harmonica, and banjo.

Carly Jo is from Orlando, Florida and beginning her second year at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, majoring in Music.
