Summer 2012 saw the release of the Klokwize debut full-length 'Hood Hippie: The Album.' The LP was an instant breakout, quickly meeting with critical acclaim, indie buzz and strong sales. Klokwize is a 2-time Connecticut Music Awards nominee for 'Best Hip Hop Act' in 2012 and 2013 respectively, nominated next to music stars such as Apathy and Ceschi.
Klok played himself and contributed heavily to the soundtrack of the feature film 'Rising Star' which debuted summer 2012 at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival and subsequently won the 'Best Premiere' Award, followed by the film's purchase for wide distribution in Europe.
