Ava began songwriting as soon as she was able to write - her mother recalls that by the age of four, Ava knew that she wanted to be a singer. Soon after graduating high school Ava attended college only to realize that her true passion resided in music, so she began touring as a background vocalist with major acts (Blu Cantrell, Arista Records) gaining experience and doing many major shows such as The Apollo, MTV Awards, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve and Lady of Soul Train Awards. She continued performing and working as a background vocalist with other major acts such as Ja Rule, Inner Circle, Third World and Wayne Wonder.

The songs are high energy and 100% what I'm feeling at the moment of conception - . The songs are melody and chant driven with matter of fact issues that people of all ages can relate to now, or at some point or another in their life".
