Adora / Bio
Staring in early 2010, Adora takes foot in the underground Chicago music scene consisting of drummer Chris Eckstrum, vocalist Stormie Radtke, guitarist Michael Drew, and Keith Pink on piano. The band has been writing and growing as a four-piece, putting out classy grooves with catchy dark hooks. Casey Bates, Ed Littman, Matt Dalton, and D.R.U.G.S. vocalist, Craig Owens, are renown engineers that took producing roles of the band's first EP titled "Save Yourself." The band hit hard on the stage later that year at a sold out House Of Blues performance. Following the hype they continue to their energy to places such as the Chicago Metro, Double Door, and Cornerstone Festival just to name a few.
"We just like to get up there and do our thing," the band quotes influencing indie-rock minds around the country and beyond. Adora continues to gather support in the states, and other national countries such as the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Mexico, Canada; who play a big role in supporting the young groups international record sales.
Adora's music video, "Save Yourself" also made appearances on the Fuse television network, Xfinity Music On Demand, and MTVu. The single also enjoyed airtime on Q101, Delta Airline radio, and other national radio stations inside and out of the states. You can find articles on Adora online, as well as in AP magazine and the Chicago Tribune.
With a rapidly growing fan-base and positive mood, the band currently is working on their next disc release titled, "One Word." The eight track CD will be available to purchase in 2012.
