The brother/sister duo, composed of Zach and Kirstie, currently reside in the woodlands of the gnashing teeth (Nashville, TN), drawing inspiration, musically and poetically, from all things imaginative and mythical.
Their first musical endeavors started very early in their lives when they first began playing Guitar (Zach) and Violin (Kirstie) around the age of 10. Raised in a musical family of 6, and being the two youngest of 4 kids, they were always close friends and with the addition of instruments they found a new way to play together and immediately started playing and writing music of their own. Over the next ten years they would join and start several bands with friends, and expand their talents with the accordion, drums, cello, banjo, and anything else that they could get their hands on - but always they played together. In 2010 they decided to begin something new with only the two of them; this was the beginning of the melodiously ruckus-filled pair, Fable Cry. In 2011 they released their self-titled debut album, and began touring the United States with it. All along the way they have released four official music videos, are writing and performing new music for their next album, and intend to share this next full length creation with the world in 2014, with plenty of guest musicians that often frequent their stage.
With a colorful melody and a flourishing sweep of the hand this duo will weave their strand of tales, making their way from the solitude of a quiet forest to the wily seas, from the tippy top of a wind swept mountain pass to the twinkling blackness of outer space! Kirstie, with her poise, catchy violin melodies, and eye for art in everything, brings her grace and visuals to her brother's tall tales, energetic song content, and rambunctious scamping. Fable Cry creates a wildly unique show and one that is not to be missed!
