“Arterial Divides is an alt-indie group that began last year when singer-songwriter Brandon Hanlon decided it was time to commit his work to record. “I thought, what better way to do it than ask my friends to do it with me,” says Hanlon. And so Arterial Divides was born. The group’s first EP Passion & Pain was subsequently released on May 20th, 2011. When asked about the band name, Hanlon says “Our lead guitarist Matthew Browne pitched the name. He was explaining how the arterial road divides all the members in the band from where each of us live.” Armed with brand new drummer Mark Winsor, and third guitarist/harmonica player Stephen White, Arterial Divides are gearing up to record their first full length album which according to Hanlon “…is going to impress everyone for sure.” Today’s track is a bluesy rocker from Passion & Pain complete with haunting guitar leads, gritty rythym and swirling organ. * Note that some of this has been cut short due to the character cap ”
