Festival of electronic music and visual by Duplex Ride. You are the task [Human machine needs rebooting]"). "We Are Machines" è il nuovo album attualmente in lavorazione dopo "A New Beginning" del 2011, pubblicato su iTunes. *** Armenia presents an electronic layered multi-level sound, in search of awareness and knowledge between instinct, emotion and mind. The inherited name ("Armenia") now looks like a destiny or an omen: his eyes and sensitivity connected to the most hidden East, bearing a versus narrative that counteracts the mainstream of today's society ("Facing The Abyss") and the enslavement of individuals and populations to needs that alienate their real nature ("Slave"), Armenia uses every modern tool to find and draw a line of energy capable of piercing and revealing the world ("A New Beginning"). Increasingly close to the realization of their nightmares and their own dark side the human machines must be restarted ("You are the task [Human machine needs rebooting]"). Something went wrong. Armenia combines a very instinctive and intuitive approach with the meticulous care of an enveloping and emotional soundscape. The musical electronic structures are usually simple and impactful. Musically both minimal approach and search for difference are relevant stylistic traits. The pulsation of the rhythm is a driving force. He plays live improvising a lot, directing the set with his reliable Novation Launchkey along with the processed and personally prepared visuals for each performance. Armenia could be described today as an apprentice Orpheist. "We Are Machines" is today's new album in production after "A New Beginning", released in 2011 on iTunes.

Q: Fantastic sounds here bro. What sort of kit and synths do you use for live work? Is Ableton part of your luggage per chance?
A: I use in concert Ableton Live, loaded with VST synthesizers. I play keyboard via USB controller. Many tracks have a significant proportion of live improvisation. I like this. In addition live arrangements tend to be more warm and engaging. The whole is supported by visuals which I care myself. Thank you!
