Global Ambassador for South Africa's MyLife Foundation, recording artist Ard Matthews launches his first charitable contribution "First Offerings" through www.ardmatthews.com. Ard is raising money for the MyLife Foundation not by selling his songs on his website but instead when someone donates to the Foundation through the website www.ardmatthews.com they receive a one time access key to the download area of Ards site. Access to this area serves as thanks for their contribution in helping to bring awareness to the Foundation. In the download area, donators will be able to access rare recordings, videos and songs that he is currently working on.

Although living outside of South Africa since 2002, Ard has been very active in raising awareness to good causes in Africa through his music. Ard is also currently an Ambassador of 46664 which is Nelson Mandela's global HIV AIDS awareness programme launched through the Nelson Mandela Foundation in 2002.

Ard is still part of the band Just Jinjer who have recently signed to Curb records in the USA.

"The band have been incredibly supportive of this project because it could potentially help thousands of children have a better future" Matthews said. Just Jinjer have recorded and released 5 albums together of which 2 have gone double platinum and 3 gold in native South Africa.
