Armed with the fury and aggression of thrash metal and blended with elements of hard rock, ANOTHER BLACK DAY are set to take their place in the upper hierarchy of hard rock and metal. With their gripping, dark lyrics and powerful vocals, ANOTHER BLACK DAY has risen to be one of the most talked about and promising bands of 2008. ANOTHER BLACK DAY consists of members Matthew Wilkof (Vocals, Guitar), Angel Hernandez (Drums), Das Haas (Bass) and Ernesto Paez (Guitar).
Within the first week of radio impact, “WICKED SOUL” debuted on the Media Base Active-Rock Chart at 35 with a bullet, surpassing popular artists including Kid Rock, Coheed and Cambria, and Paramore, plus many others. On the back of their first single, “WICKED SOUL”, ANOTHER BLACK DAY has been creating a huge buzz for themselves as well as amassing airplay at rock stations across the US. In addition to racking up early adds at some of the countries best rock stations, such as WRIF-Detroit, KISW-Seattle, WJRR-Orlando, WIIL-Chicago and many others, “WICKED SOUL” has been one of the most played songs at KBPI in Denver over the last twelve months. Due to the high demand of the single, BIELER BROS. RECORDS and ANOTHER BLACK DAY launched a special iTunes pre-release of “WICKED SOUL” to coincide with the band’s record release announcement.
In support of the debut, ANOTHER BLACK DAY has been asked to join a slew of the biggest radio festivals. On May 10th, ANOTHER BLACK DAY will be alongside Kid Rock, 3 Doors Down, Serj Tankian, Filter and Shinedown in Orlando for the annual WJRR Earthday Birthday Festival. ANOTHER BLACK DAY will also be appearing with Stone Temple Pilots at the KQRC Rock Fest in Kansas City along with an appearance at the WXRX Wing Ding in Chicago.
The self-titled CD “ANOTHER BLACK DAY” hit stores in 2008. The album was recorded at Bieler Bros. Studio and was produced by Matt LaPlant (Nonpoint, SikTh) and the members of ANOTHER BLACK DAY. The music is comprised of aggressive, complex guitar work, thought provoking lyrics, awe inspiring drumming, powerful vocals and brilliant, raw song-writing prowess wrapped up into one formidable package.

Another Black Day Frontman Comments On New Single And Five Finger Death Punch Tour
Following the massive success of their Top Twenty, debut single "Wicked Soul", ANOTHER BLACK DAY are storming radio with the second single from their self-titled debut. Carrying the same moniker as the band and album, "Another Black Day" will officially impact radio this week, and marks a shift into heavier gears for the Florida based metal quartet. The track has already amassed an impressive lineup of major rock stations in support, including WIIL Chicago, WRIF Detroit, KJML Joplin, WKLQ Grand Rapids, WJJO Madison, KBRE Merced, KEYJ Abilene, KHTQ Spokane and WJRR Orlando.
Another Black Day frontman, Matt Wilkof, recently checked in with his thoughts on the song's pending impact: "This song really brings out our bands energy and encompasses more of what we are all about. We definitely think it has more intricate detail music-wise."
While the impact of the band's second single would have been enough to satisfy the hunger for most Another Black Day fans, the band was also part of this week's biggest metal news, when FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH officially announced their fall headline tour, featuring Another Black Day as well as In This Moment and Bury Your Dead.
Wilkof weighed in with his excitement about Another Black Day's inclusion on the highly anticipated bill: "We're all very excited about being part of the bill for the upcoming tour with Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment and Bury Your Dead. It's definitely going to be a breakthrough tour with those amazing bands. Another Black Day Set To Tour With Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment And Bury Your Dead!
ANOTHER BLACK DAY will join the heavy-hitting metal quintet FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH on their full U.S. headlining tour this fall. They will be joined by IN THIS MOMENT and BURY YOUR DEAD. The tour kicks off September 29 in Colorado Springs and wraps up December 4 at the House of Blues in San Diego.
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH frontman Ivan Moody commented: “After kicking ass with all our metal friends on [Rockstar Energy Mayhem] this past summer, we knew that our next step had to be massive!! Formerly From The Ashes, Another Black Day is based out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and consists of members, Matthew Wilkof (vocals, lead guitar), Angel Hernandez, (drums), and Das Haas (bass). The band's current line-up was finalized in the summer of 2004 and has been going strong ever since. With countless shows played, two EP's under their belts (and a full length recently released), radio airplay, and a growing fan base. Another Black Day is gaining recognition and respect amongst their peers in the music industry worldwide.
The band has been featured on numerous radio shows such as Denver Colorado's KBPI, XM Radio's Unsigned Bands and Mayhem & Rage Radio from Florida. Another Black Day has recently recorded a full length CD at Bieler Brother's Records (Skindred, Non-Point) in Sunrise FL. The long awaited full length was produced by A.B.D and Matt LaPlant (NonPoint, Sikth). The music is comprised of aggressive complex guitar work, thought provoking lyrics, awe inspiring drumming, powerful vocals and cohesive songwriting wrapped up into one unique package. Each band member contributes his own style into the music, which in turn, breeds an unmistakably original musical creation.
The A.B.D live show is a force to be reckoned with. Another Black Day pours all of their energy and aggression and musical prowess into a wall of kinetic energy. Angel's drumming is dead on, Haas's bass lines are tight and powerful, Matt's vocals are earth shattering and coupled with blistering guitar work he forces the crowd into the A.B.D onslaught. Put all of that together with constant movement on stage and you have the Another Black Day's live show...Excitement...Energetic...and Flawless.
