Bio
Anne Montone is a rare combination of endless musical talent and unyielding business savvy. As a performer, Anne has had numerous showcases and radio appearances all across the country including top billing during New York’s CMJ festival for the past three years. Always in the public eye, her talent recently caught the attention of Interscope A&R Ben Gordon (Jurassic 5, Mickey Avalon), Sly Doggie Production’s Christian Davis (Rodney Jerkins, Day26 – Making The Band 4), and Oscar nominated German beat makers, Steadyworks (Phantom of the Opera 2, Peter Pan).
About
What started out as a stint as lead singer of the trip hop group, Elephonic, has exploded into an impressive solo artist career. Throughout the years, Anne’s musical talent has graced the works of the Emmy nominated sitcom Girlfriends, the critically acclaimed film “Quinceañera,” winner of the Sundance Jury Award, and compilations for internationally recognized brands like Crocs and Scion. Recently, she was tapped by London Underground Shoes to be a vehicle for their brand. Shortly thereafter, Von Dutch Originals invited her into its Artists In Residency program, where she joined the likes of award winning talents like Esai Morales, Angie Stone, and Gary Baseman, to name a few.
