Ask Anne-Lise Larsen (LL Cool Jazz, Machiniso) anything...
Q: I've never asked you in the years I've known you, but what instruments do you play? James from the U.S.
A: Hi James. Well, my main instrument is cello but there was a time I was equally adept on double bass too! I studied piano for about 8 years and got to the Debussy & Chopin level of playing, but I didn't really practice enough to be a great pianist. In the 90s, I decided to teach myself guitar and played that for a little bit, mostly basic rock stuff (but I was a whiz on solos) and blues. Over the years I've dabbled in everything from oboe to violin and lots in between. :)
