I was cursed from birth with an overwhelming attraction to the guitar. At 4 I recieved my first guitar, but didn't play seriously until about 9. I am self taught, thus proving Socrates theory, My early infuences and teachers were: Randy Rhoads, George Lynch, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Michael Schenker and Akira Takasaki, with much infuence from the great composers.
I began singing at twenty, singing back-up vocals in the bands I was in eventually taking over lead vocals. My influences vocally were Don Dokken, Joe Lynne Turner, Steve Walsh, Rob Halford and Steve Perry..
Now with the help of Rick Anderson and Shea Gold, I have started Andys Doomesday Device.
